Titanic - The Halifax Connection
Your tour encompasses all aspects of Halifax's connection to the sinking of the Titanic, including the historic pier from which cable ships were dispatched to pick up victims, the churches, temporary morgue sites, and Fairview Cemetery, where rows of gravestones mark the final resting place of 121 victims. Immerse yourself in history at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, which houses an excellent permanent exhibit on the disaster, including photographs, wooden artifacts and the only intact Titanic deck chair in the world. Compare the details of this devastating event to that of the Halifax Explosion, which occurred just five years later. The result of a collision between the Imo and the Mont Blanc, a French munitions ship, the explosion leveled the north end of Halifax, and killed or injured thousands. But most importantly, learn of the compassionate relief effort displayed by the world to help this city and its inhabitants overcome their instant and tragic loss, and rebuild their lives.

Old Quebec Walk, Horse & Carriage
Explore the narrow cobbled lanes and charming alleyways of the lower city on a walking tour. Then ride the funicular to the upper city for a stately tour in a horse and carriage. Place Royale, the beautifully restored square in the heart of the Lower Town features superb examples of the 17th and 18th century stone architecture that characterizes the city. The site of the Sieur de Champlain's first settlement, the square is home to Notre Dame des Victoires, the oldest stone church still standing in North America. Petit Champlain Street, the pedestrian-only street adjacent to the Place Royale, features boutiques, shops, cafes and restaurants housed in 17th and 18th century buildings. Strolling musicians, jugglers and other street performers abound. Board the funicular for the short ride to the historic, walled Upper Town, home to Dufferin Terrace and Chateau Frontenac. Dufferin Terrace, Quebec's grand promenade, affords panoramic views of the St. Lawrence River, the town of Levis on the opposite bank, the Ile d'Orleans, and the Laurentian Mountains. Chateau Frontenac, Quebec's most recognizable landmark, is a palatial hotel, a green-turreted castle built in 1893 by the Canadian Pacific Railway. Franklin Roosevelt, Winston Churchill and MacKenzie King met here to discuss strategy during World War II. Board your elegant carriage by the Chateau Frontenac and ride through the historic streets of the Upper Town for a 40 minute ride.

Corner Brook Caving Tour
After a short shuttle ride, follow a backcountry trail through Boreal forest before reaching the entrance to the Corner Brook caves. These caves were formed by the Corner Brook stream, which still runs through part of the cave system. Climb down an approximately seven-foot (two-meter) rock face (with assistance) to enter the caves and proceed through the underground tunnels. Next enter the part of the cave system that contains the stream. You'll manage to keep your feet dry in this section by climbing along the paths next to the stream. However, the next section will require wading. This water may reach your knees depending on your size and you'll get soaked! At one point the stream will get too deep to stand and you have the choice to swim or walk around the water and meet up with the swimmers on the other side. The height of the caves range from big caverns several meters high to narrow passages high enough to allow people to just comfortably slide through on their belly or back and be able to remain and move in a ducked stance. A certain level of mobility is required to move through the narrower passages and fear of dark enclosed spaces needs to be considered.

Baddeck & Alexander Graham Bell Museum
Travel to the picturesque little village of Baddeck situated on the shores of the beautiful Bras d'Or Lakes in the heart of Cape Breton lsland, one of the world's scenic gems. It is here that Alexander Graham Bell spent the last 37 years of his life. Visit the Alexander Graham Bell Museum, operated by Parks Canada, which does full justice to the outstanding accomplishments of the man best known for the invention of the telephone, and remarkable contributions in the fields of medicine, genetics, electricity, sound and speech, as well as aeronautics and marine engineering. The museum itself is architecturally striking, as its design is based on the tetrahedron form Bell used for his flight test kites and houses the most extensive collection of Bell artifacts contributed by the Bell Family. You can participate in a kite-making workshop and learn more about the principles of drag, lift and weight as you create a one-of-a kind flying masterpiece. Enjoy the views of Boulanderie Island, the Seal Island Bridge, Kelly's Mountain and St. Ann's Bay during the return drive to your ship.
