Historical City Tour & Salmon Bake

White Pass Scenic Railway

No trip to Alaska is complete without a ride on the White Pass and Yukon Route narrow-gauge railroad that served the mad rush to the Klondike in 1898. You'll board an old-fashioned parlor car for a 40-mile round trip.

Takshanuk Mountain Trail 4x4

Takshanuk Mountain Trail is a 3-hour, six-mile roundtrip tour through some of the most pristine wilderness in Alaska. Arriving in Haines, you'll be greeted with a warm welcome from your personal guide. You'll venture out Lutak Road alongside the Lynn Canal to Takshanuk Mountain. When you reach the base of the trail, you'll be shown how to operate the Kawasaki Mule, which is best described as a heavy duty golf cart with automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. The mules are equipped with seat belts, are easily accessible and have storage for oxygen tanks and wheelchairs.
