Juneau Mendenhall Glacier Lake Canoe

    Paddle to the face of the Mendenhall Glacier in a 28-foot, 12-person traditional Native canoe, similar to ones used by Tlingit Natives.
    Your guide shares traditional legends and history of the Mendenhall Glacier area.
    The journey across the iceberg-studded lake will transport you to a world of stunning beauty in this magnificent land.
    Note: Participants must weigh at least 50 lbs.
    All guests must be able to participate in paddling the canoe.
    Paddling duration is approximately 1 1/2 hours.
    Outerwear is provided at the site.
    This tour operates under a special use permit issued by the U.S. Forest Service.
