As the cost of insurance varies with the cost of your vacation, please call your cruise consultant for pricing & coverage as soon as possible. The sooner you sign up, the sooner you and your investment are protected.
Here are the highlights of the insurance The Cruise Web offers through I TRAVEL INSURED. Certain coverage terms and restrictions do apply. You will receive a Certificate of Insurance, detailing coverage, upon purchasing coverage. You will have 10 days to examine the coverage and request a full refund if not satisfied.
PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS are covered for Insured Persons, if coverage is purchased within 14 days of the initial trip deposit.
Trip Cancellation & Interruption (maximum benefit - $20,000 per person): You are covered if your trip is canceled or interrupted for any one of the following reasons:
- Illness, injury or death to the Insured person, an Insured’s family member, a travel companion or a travel companion’s family member.
- Traffic accident on the way to a departure point directly involving either the Insured person or a travel companion.
- Terrorist incident in the city to which you are scheduled to arrive within 10 days following the incident.
- Job termination or layoff.*
- Bankruptcy or financial hardship of travel supplier. (In order to receive this specific benefit, the insurance policy must be purchased within 14 days of the initial deposit.)
- Jury or military duty.
- Labor strike, natural disasters or inclement weather resulting in the complete cessation of travel services.
Travel Delays including missed connections (maximum benefit - $500): Pays for additional transportation costs necessary to reunite you with your insured cruise.
Emergency Medical and Dental Expenses (maximum benefit - $10,000): No daily limits or deductibles!!! Pays for doctor, hospital, ambulance service and prescriptions up to one year from date of injury/sickness.
Emergency Medical Evacuation/Repatriation (maximum benefit - $20,000): Pays for transportation to the nearest medical facility or if necessary repatriation to a medical facility near your place of residence.
Loss of Baggage & Travel Documents (maximum benefit - $1000): Pays up to $500 for the first item, then $250 per item for lost baggage or travel documents. Insurance covers the cost of administrative fees required to reissue a lost or stolen ticket.
Baggage Delay (maximum benefit - $100): Pays for reimbursement of emergency replacement items, when checked baggage is misplaced for at least 24 hours.
Accidental Death & Dismemberment (maximum benefit - $100,000).

Please call your cruise consultant for pricing & coverage as soon as possible. Remember that you will have 10 days to cancel your coverage and receive a full refund, but you can never go back in time to receive the pre-existing condition or bankruptcy coverage or to cover an unforeseen event.
