In comparison to the other two islands, St. John and St. Croix, St. Thomas is more cosmopolitan, but still strives to maintain its natural beauty. While myriad duty- free shops and treasure-filled boutiques are abundant for shopping aficionados, scuba diving and other water sports are available for the adventurous. Look out for the national bird (the yellow breast) and flower (yellow cedar) for a change of pace.
