This excursion highlights one of Kauai's most popular attractions, a cruise along the Wailua River and a visit to Fern Grotto. The Wailua River is known not only for its tropical beauty but also for its historical significance as the landing place of the first Polynesian migrants and the former home of Hawaii's royalty. Boarding a riverboat, join a narrated cruise up the river surrounded by tropical vegetation. After docking upriver, it's a short walk to the Fern Grotto. This tropical paradise forms a natural amphitheater and provides excellent acoustics as you listen to a performance by the Hawaiian Chorus. Following your return cruise down the river, drive by popular sights including Opaekaa Falls and Holo-Holo-Ku Temple on the way back to the ship.

Your flightseeing also includes the mist- shrouded Waialeale Crater (the wettest spot in the world), Manawaiopuna Falls (the "Jurassic Park" waterfall) and Wailua Falls (the "Fantasy Island" waterfall).
